Through It’s Not That Serious™, she has brought together the many threads of her life and career — leadership, mentorship, storytelling, travel, creativity, community, and connection — to create a platform where women can discover one another, learn from one another, celebrate one another, and feel a little less alone in whatever they may be navigating.
Carrie’s professional impact has been recognized through numerous honors, including being named a 2023 Global Icon by Passion Vista Magazine, induction into the Marquis Who’s Who Biographical Registry, and receiving the Waymaker Award from the Associated General Contractors for her leadership, advocacy, and commitment to elevating women in the industry. She also holds an Executive Leadership Certificate from Cornell University, with additional studies in music performance, music education, writing and English at the University of Northern Colorado and Northwest College.
