Copenhagen & the Dream Stay at Hotel 1 Copenhagen

Anyone who knows me, knows that I LOVE spending time in Europe. Any trip I take, I always try to sneak in a new location (or two… or three…too many amazing places and never enough time). Over the years, I’ve heard nothing but glowing reviews about Copenhagen, so I knew it had to make the list.

And let me tell you - Copenhagen is one of those cities that instantly captures your heart. It’s effortlessly beautiful: clean, colorful, and full of charm at every turn. From the cobblestone streets and cozy cafés to the serene canals lined with pastel houses, it somehow feels both timeless and modern. The people are kind and stylish, the food is incredible (yes, even the street food, I highly recommend the hotdogs), and there’s this calm, balanced energy that makes you want to slow down and savor every moment. It’s the kind of place that makes you think, “I could live here.”

But I digress… this post isn’t just about how magical Copenhagen is - it’s about the amazing hotel I stayed in:

First things first: the location is unbeatable. It’s within easy walking distance to all the best landmarks, shops, and restaurants, which made exploring the city a breeze.

Now, a quick note - if you’ve just come from Berlin, be prepared for a different pace. In Copenhagen, things close a bit earlier, so if you’re a late diner (like me), having a great hotel restaurant and bar is key. Luckily, 1 Hotel has that covered. The food and drinks were delicious, the staff was outstanding, and the overall vibe was pure perfection.

What really blew me away though, was the design. This hotel is unlike any place I’ve ever stayed - and I’ve stayed in a lot of hotels. The entire space is a work of art, filled with wood, cork, natural materials, lush greenery, and even actual trees in the main seating and restaurant areas. Every detail feels intentional and calming… it’s the kind of place that instantly puts you at ease.

Of course, you know I had to do a TikTok to give you a tiny glimpse of what I’m talking about, but honestly… the photos and videos don’t do it justice. This place is a dream. Bottom line: if you’re heading to Copenhagen, you MUST stay here. It’s not just a hotel - it’s the experience.
